Cronos zkEVM Bridge

zkCRO is Cronos zkEVM’s native yield bearing token. Backed by staked CRO, zkCRO earns yield through transaction fees paid on the Cronos PoS chain.

vUSD is Cronos zkEVMs yield earning stable coin. Backed by sDAI, vUSD earns the yield generated by the Protocol.

vETH is Cronos zkEVMs yield earning ETH. Backed by staked ETH, vETH earns yield through transaction fees paid on Ethereum.

zkCRO accrues value over time. So it includes the yield it has earned. You can deposit zkCRO into other protocols, and the token itself continues to earn yield. Once you redeem zkCRO back for CRO you will be able to receive more CRO than you original deposited.

to the newsletter to be notified when you can start to claim your yield. vETH or vUSD deposited into any of the Cronos zkEVM dapp, will be distributed back to users by the individual dapps.

There is no limitation to the tokens that can be deposited. The tokens that are shown on this website are the ones where we are aware that there is use in the Cronos zkEVM ecosystem for them. However you can bridge any token on Ethereum you like to Cronos zkEVM by directly entering the Contract Address.

For most token deposits it should take around 5-10 Minutes to arrive.

After withdrawing a Token from Cronos zkEVM to Ethereum there is a 48 hour waiting period before it can be claimed. For staked tokens, such as zkCRO, vETH or vUSD, you will have to unstake them on Ethereum to receive the underlying LCRO, ETH or DAI. In either case you will need enough ETH to pay gas on Ethereum to claim your tokens.

Except for when unstaking zkCRO, the Cronos zkEVM Bridge itself charges no fees. However, network fees have to be paid. On Ethereum network fees are paid in ETH and Cronos zkEVM network fees are paid in zkCRO. When unstaking zkCRO for LCRO, a 0.01% fee is charged to cover gas costs on Cronos EVM. When depositing USDC or USDT for vUSD, a 0.01% swapping fee is charged by the underlying Curve 3pool
